This timeline concerns events in the Milky Way Galaxy and the Galaxy of Leos in the Q-niverse, where the action in Story 1: The Unification and the Conquest takes place. Please be warned that this chronology contains plot spoilers if you haven't read the posted stories yet!
All years listed are the Thunderian years, which correspond exactly to the years of VideoLand, Darkwing's Earth, and the Mushroom World. The year in Limbo equals 1000 plus the Thunderian year, while the Starfleet year equals 378 plus the Thunderian year.
Please note that all prehistorical events in the stories have been verified by extremely accurate dating methods.
circa 15 thousand million B.C.
The universe named Q-niverse was created.
circa 10 thousand million B.C.
The Milky Way Galaxy, the Galaxy of Leos (referred to by M.W.G. scientists as the Large Magellanic Cloud), and the Galaxy of Léi (referred to by M.W.G. scientists as the Small Magellanic Cloud) are separated into their own respective galaxies, some of their stars having been created.
circa 7 thousand million B.C.
The star of Thundera, Thundersol, and that of Plundarr begin to be created on opposite sides of the Galaxy of Leos, along with their respective solar systems.
circa 5 thousand million B.C.
The Thunderian Solar System is now easily defined as thirteen planets ringing around Thundersol, the Thunderian star. The fourth and fifth, Old Thundera and Old Thunderius, revolve around each other as well as the sun, and neither has a moon, while both were to become able to support life. Very few life forms are to be created on Thunderius.
The Plundarrian Solar System is defined as two planets ringing around Mutosol, the Plundarrian star. The second, Plundarr, has several moons. All bodies are capable of supporting life, and similar life forms are to be created on each.
circa 1 thousand million B.C.
First single-celled organisms, afterwards more complex life, are created on Thundera and Plundarr.
circa 100 million B.C.
Human, Romulan, Cardassian, Klingon, Exorian, and other humanoid genetic information along with some feline genetic information warps from the year A.D. 1994 to this year B.C. from a parallel timeline in this universe in order to allow creation of life on a faraway neutral planet; on the first timeline, these nations in the Milky Way practically destroyed each other with super-advanced weaponry that year and finally decided to send combined genetic material to an uninhabited planet about a thousand million years in the past.
circa 90 million B.C.
The humanoid genetic information arrives on Thundera exactly 10 million years after its arrival in this timeline.
circa 1 million 100 thousand B.C.
The Thunderian humanoid species is created on Thundera with the humanoid genetic information as a blueprint. By nature, Thunderians are good, though still subject to evil desires.
The Plundarrian humanoid species develops on Plundarr and its moons. By nature, Plundarrians are evil, though subject to good desires.
Both species develop into several races.
615 000 B.C.
Thunderian history begins. All Thunderian races come to know one another peacefully. Technological advancement begins to take place. Telepathy becomes refined.
615 000 to 200 000 B.C.
All Thunderian technology advances to our Earth's late-twentieth-century's highest level of advancement.
200 000 B.C.
Thunderians perfect the Thundrillium-powered automobile, which is extremely efficient and does not harm the atmosphere. However, many Thunderians prefer walking to nearby destinations.
198 225 B.C.
The extremely powerful Wilykat Race, the most powerful Thunderian race, is developed. The First Wilykat Generation begins 20 years later. (To the Thunderians, a generation is a period of exactly 20 years.)
178 225 B.C.
The 1000th Wilykat Generation begins. The weakest family's telepathic strength far surpasses the telepathic strength of the telepathically strongest Betazoid ever, while the strongest family's telepathic strength is powerful enough to easily enter the mind of anyone from any other family, from any race other than Wilykats, or from any species other than Thunderians.
7500 B.C.
Plundarrian history begins. All Plundarrian races on Plundarr itself, the Mutants, war constantly. Those in the moons, or the Luna-tacks, instead develop primitive space travel and are relatively peaceful with one another. They migrate to the surface and become involved in the neverending Plundarrian Civil War. Only emperors with certain thoughts come to unify Plundarr, and then, usually only for a short time.
300 B.C.
Relations among Thunderian races begin to deteriorate over a long period of time because of the Panther-Race's hunger to rule.
200 B.C.
The Thunderian Civil Wars begin, dividing the entire planet into a series of countries, arguing over each race's strength and morality. Telepathy becomes a major weapon, destroying the minds of enemies. No single Thunderian race wins. The Wilykat Race and the Jaguar Race, the only two that try not to fight this war, attempt to reconcile the other races with little success.
100 B.C.
Thunderian Wars fiercen. Telepathy now is the weapon of choice, as well as powerful strength. The Wilykat Race, though the most powerful, suffers the most because many members are afflicted with a physiological disorder related to telepathy that later became quite rare.
0
Jaga the Wise is born of the Jaguar Race. He is believed later to be the Thunderian incarnation of Jesus Christ.
A.D. 15
Jaga comes of age and comes to power with the support of the Jaguar Race and that of the Wilykat Race. When he creates the Code of Thundera, the Thunderian Commandment enforcing truth, honour, justice, and loyalty, everyone begins to listen to him. Jaganity, the Thunderian religion, strikingly similar to Christianity, is founded.
16
The Thunderian Wars end officially.
25
The Thunderian Republic, to last until the death of the Planet Thundera, is formed of the entire planet. All Thunderian races live together in peace and harmony. No serious racial discrimination exists any longer. The great minds of the Thunderians turn to intelligence, thought, and technology rather than chaos and destruction, though physical strength remains a very desirable and respected trait.
30
Emperor Ratilla the Terrible conquers Plundarr and the Moons of Plundarr, unifying the Plundarrians into an uneasy alliance (but an alliance nonetheless).
50
Thunderian computer technology becomes extremely advanced.
79
Thundera launches a series of unmanned spacecraft to study space and the galaxy.
102
Thundera uses first manned spacecraft, very sophisticated, to colonise the neighbouring planet of Thunderius, of approximately equal size and atmosphere and with equal geological age. The two planets actually move in a trojan relationship, as Thunderian scientists discover later that year.
150
Tuoniano (Ancient Thunderian), the chief language of Thundera, develops, thanks to the work of many grammarians. It remains almost unchanged grammatically during its long period of use. Its alphabet is almost exactly like what it will be in 1993. It is made to be the standard language of the Thunderian species, composed of words from many different languages.
200
Thundera and Thunderius develop a molecular transport system so that spacecraft are not required for travel between the two worlds.
200 to 500
Extreme Thunderian advancement; out-of-solar-system space travel is created and enhanced by the discovery of dilithium crystals for warp engines, capable of at least warp 6. Thundera and Thunderius expand borders and either annex unpopulated, habitable planets or take under their protection planets whose governments wish alliance.
713
Contact with the war-like species whose homeworld is Gnatara {the 'G' is silent} convinces Thunderians to develop phasers, much against their wishes. In a short war, the Thunderians take the corrupt leaders of the Gnatarans, who are grateful because the leaders had been quite oppressive. These Gnatarans become allies of Thundera.
800
Plundarr develops crude but effective space travel. They conquer the portion of the galaxy that is to be known as the Plundarrian Empire.
900
Rebellious Wilykats engaging in the extreme belief of Unitism escape from Thunderius and steal a prototype ship with a maximum attainable speed of warp 20 and the only working version of the recently developed Thunderian cloaking device. After destroying all copies of the schematics to the cloaking device, they escape to the neighbouring Galaxy of Léi, recently found by a probe at the edge of the Galaxy of Leos.
950
English has developed in the western part of the Panther-Race Country of Thundera and the northeastern part of the Tiger-Race Country. Thunderian Swedish, a Thunderian language whose vocabulary is equivalent in most respects to Swedish spoken on Earth, has developed in the northern part of the Panther-Race Country. Thunderian Hispano-Portuguese, a Thunderian language in which the vocabulary is equivalent to that of Spanish, the grammar is equivalent to that of Portuguese, and the pronunciation is roughly equivalent to that of French, has developed in the western part of the Tiger-Race Country. Thunderian Greek, equivalent to twentieth-century Greek on Earth, and Thunderian Italian have developed in the northern part of the Wilykat-Race Country. All become official languages of Thundera, though Thunderian English takes precedence along with Ancient Thunderian and Thunderian Hispano-Portuguese.
1000
Destructive first contact between Thunderian-Swedish-speaking Thunderians and Plundarrian-Swedish-speaking Plundarrians. The two worlds' empires enter into a permanent dispute. (Sort of an 'it's always something' situation.)
1238
Plundarrians develop the cloaking device prototype and they perfect hyperdrive engines; since the super-efficient, super-quick hyperdrive engines give off lithium atoms and the cloaking device gives off fluorine atoms, Plundarrian ships distort space when cloaked and moving because lithium and fluorine react explosively. Thus, they're easily detected by Thunderians every time (and the idiots wonder why).
1397
A group from a peaceful race of listeners, the El-Aurians, enters the Galaxy of Leos from the Milky Way Galaxy in a super-advanced ship for exploratory purposes and contacts Thundera. When that race encounters the Plundarrians, the Thunderians rescue them from the Plundarrians. The group leaves for the Galaxy of Léi.
1400
Emperor Ratilla the Terrible of the Plundarrian Empire, employing the Sword of Plundarr, travels to Thundera and breaks into the Thunderian vault containing the Treasure of Thundera, full of items created for the good of the Thunder Cats, a crucial association created by Jaga when he forged the Sword of Omens long ago. Ratilla is stopped and exiled by Jaga. Jaga throws the Sword of Plundarr into the molten core of Thundera to be destroyed by the lava, but in several centuries, the evil Sword will destroy Thundera to break out.
1410
Rataro, nephew of Ratilla the Terrible, becomes Emperor of the Plundarrian Empire, uniting the Mutants again but not bringing in the Luna-tacks. He signs the Plundarrio-Thunderian Treaty with Thundera, splitting the Galaxy of Leos in half with a Neutral Zone between the Plundarrian and Thunderian Empires.
1415
Emperor Rataro sends Plundarrian Birds of Prey, a new, more sophisticated model of Plundarrian warcruisers, cloaked to the Thunderian border to try to annex the Thunderian Empire. The War of Leos between Plundarr and Thundera begins.
1415 to 1421
The body of the War of Leos, which devastates the planets of both species and leaves both only with their own homeworlds. However, the Plundarrians lose even more heavily.
29 January 1421
The last cloakable Plundarrian warship is destroyed by Thunderian ships.
4 July 1421
Jaga and armies of the Wilykat Race march into Plundarr's capital and destroy half of the city by defending themselves. They march into Rataro's office. This is the 'understood' end of the War of Leos, though no treaty is ever signed.
1450
Because of the failure of the War of Leos, Rataro is ousted. The Mutants begin to war among themselves once more, and the Plundarrian Empire collapses entirely.
1451
The Thunderian Empire is salvaged. The colony worlds try to invent cloaking technology but fail. Thunderian hyperdrive technology is perfected with the discovery of triberyllium on Thunderius, which is more efficient than warp drive technology. Maximum sustainable speed: hyper 99.9 (equivalent to warp 9.99). Cannot sustain hyper 100 (warp 10) without fracturing triberyllium within 10 seconds at this stage of refining, and further refining is impossible at this time (but not later).
1537 to 1787
Thunderian Golden Age. The Thunderian Empire consists of three-fourths of the Galaxy of Leos. Every metre of the border is covered with sensors to detect cloaked or uncloaked Plundarrian warships on either side. Hispano-Portuguese, English, and Thunderian are interchangeable in conversation throughout most of the Thunderian Empire.
1537
All Thunderian laws concerning gender are abolished because of concern from Jaga. This act was what ultimately helped to stop disobedience of the Code of Thundera.
1600
In addition to new theories in science, super-advanced refining processes fuelled by Thundrillium become capable of refining triberyllium so that the maximum sustainable speed is hyper 195 (warp 19.5).
1615
Hispano-Portuguese splits into Thunderian Spanish and Thunderian Portuguese. Both are almost equivalent to those spoken on Earth, though Portuguese retains its French-like pronunciation, and Portuguese is spoken more than Spanish.
1700
Rataro and Vultureman construct the Rat*Star, a noncloakable Plundarrian Rat of Prey, capable of a max sustainable speed of hyper 90 (equivalent to warp 9).
1720
As the first part of a plan to exact revenge on the Thunderians, Rataro bombs the Jaguar Race's area of Old Thundera with a genocide weapon. All but Jaga die within five years. Jaga only survives because he was not in the area during the bombing and stayed out of the area afterwards.
1725
Rataro bombs the Wilykat Race's area with the genocide weapon. Within fifty years, all Wilykats but the Wilytwins are presumed dead. (The Wilykats were far more numerous than the Jaguars and more resistant to disease.)
30 November 1759
Tygra is born.
2 December 1759
Cheetara, Tygra's Amora Eternamente, is born.
6 June 1762
Bengali, Tygra's brother, is born.
1770
Fifty thousand Wilykats, including the aunt and uncle of Wilykit and Wilykat, leave Thundera on a large Lightning-Class ship, the Effugium. The Wilykats just turn up missing, as does the ship. This is pure fact though, as the ship is piloted to a point just beyond the galactic rim yet between the Galaxy of Leos and the Milky Way Galaxy. Here, the triberyllium accidentally fractures because of a flaw from quick loading.
4 March 1773
Lion-O, to be Lord of the Thunder Cats, is born.
5 November 1775
The Wilytwins, Wilykit and Wilykat, first and presumed last of the just developed 10 000th Wilykat Generation, are born.
30 November 1775
Tygra reaches 16 years of age, Tygro-Thunderian Age of Legal Maturity.
2 December 1775
Cheetara reaches 16 years of age, Cheetaro-Thunderian Age of Legal Maturity.
5 December 1775
The Wilytwins' dying mother leaves them in the Tiger Race's territory to be found and reared. With them, she leaves information on their race. She dies mere minutes later.
6 December 1775
Tygra, in the midst of playing a game with his brother, Bengali, finds the Wilytwins. He will raise them as his own children.
25 December 1775
Tygraguillermo and Tygrana, unknown until later to be Wilykat's Amora Eternamente, are born.
5 January 1776
The Astutus-twins, Astutus-gatito and Astutus-gatita, second of the 10 000th Wilykat Generation, are born to the Wilytwins' aunt and uncle on the Effugium.
6 June 1778
Bengali reaches 16 years of age, Tygro-Thunderian Legal Age of Maturity.
1780
Rataro attempts to bomb the Tiger Race's area with his genocide weapon, but he fails due to Tygra and his family.
1782
Rataro attempts to bomb the Cheetah Race's area with his genocide weapon, but he fails again due to Cheetara and her family.
1784
The Wilytwins become Thunder Cats and make their own 'group'-name the Thunder Kittens. The Astutus-twins' parents, the only two Thunder Cats aboard the Effugium, declare them to be Thunder Cats.
1785
The Astutus-twins' parents die of the 'rat-poisoning.' These parents were the first to give birth and the last to die. After they die, there are again 50 000 Wilykats aboard the ship, and Astutus-gatito, being the older of the Astutus-twins, the oldest person aboard, and one of the only two Thunder Cats aboard, becomes leader. He has all Wilykats aboard learn from the scholastic plan on which his parents started him and his sister.
1 January 1785
The Thunder Kittens enter their fifth consecutive school year at the branch of the Thunderian Academy in the capital of the Tiger Race's territory. Wilykat becomes enamoured with Tygrana, a young female member of the Tiger Race. Her entire family, including her twin brother, except for her father has died due to a genetic weakness that allows a microbe to pass into the bloodstream to the heart and turn certain substances into potassium cyanide (KCN). This is the KCN virus. Tygrana attends the very same classes as the Thunder Kittens this year.
21 December 1785
Tygrana becomes infected with the KCN virus.
26 December 1785
Tygrana shows the first symptoms of being infected with the KCN virus.
31 December 1785
Tygrana dies due to the KCN virus.
1786
Tygrana's father dies due to the KCN virus.
4 March 1787
Lion-O celebrates his 14th birthday.
1787
Old Thundera explodes, due to the Sword of Plundarr. Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, Jaga, Lion-O, and the Thunder Kittens escape aboard the Thunderian flagship.
1787 to 1987
The Thunder Cats' voyage to third-Earth in suspension. They age ten years instead of two hundred. (All but two would not have survived one hundred fifty years without suspension.) Jaga opts to pilot the ship, as it was damaged badly by an attack from a new Plundarrian Bird of Prey commanded by the evil S-s-slithe, and Jaga dies on the way while piloting. Third-Earth is in the neighbouring Milky Way Galaxy.
1788
The Wilykats on the Effugium get engines on-line after reproducing triberyllium. They notice the Thunderian flagship go by, but they spend the next few years learning how to pilot their ship and follow the flagship. They cannot signal because they have not been told how to activate the communications equipment.
1793 to 1993
The course on the Effugium is set to follow the flagship wherever it was headed. It follows the flagship at the latter's speed. The Wilykats all journey in suspension, for the ship is in excellent shape. Like the others, they age ten years rather than two hundred, even though all would easily survive that time span.
19 June 1971
Jayna and Zan, to become the Wondertwins of Exor, are born. They are the deliberate reincarnation of Tygrana and her twin brother, Tygraguillermo because of their unfair deaths caused by the KCN virus. Thus, Jayna is to become Wilykat's Amora Eternamente.
14 July 1971
Wesley Crusher, to become Wilykit's Amoro Eternamente, is born to Beverly Howard Crusher and Jack Crusher on Federation Earth.
1 January 1972
Princess Zelda, born Zelda Harkinian, is born on Hyrule.
14 July 1973
The evil Ludwig von(Bowser)Koopa is born to King Bowser Koopa.
The good Luis de(Spike)Koopa, born Ludwig von(Spike)Koopa, is born to King Spike Koopa.
9 January 1974
Kevin Keene, to become Captain N: The Game Master of VideoLand, is born on "Kevin's Earth" to Ned and Cheryl Keene.
10 January 1974
Link, Hero of Hyrule and Princess Zelda's beloved, is born on Hyrule less than twelve hours after Kevin was born on Earth!
2 March 1974
Princess Lana, born Lana Deschain, to be ruler of VideoLand, is born on first-Earth in MegaLand to King Charles and Queen Mariana. She was born there because of her mother's pregnancy complications.
1981
The experimental U.S.S. Pegasus, on which the present Commander Will Riker served as helmsman, under command of then-Captain Presman (now court-martialled Admiral), is given secret orders to create the prototype for a Federation phased cloaking device, which not only cloaks a ship but alters its molecular adhesion so that it can pass through ordinary matter. The cloak is built, but it overloads plasma conduits. Most of the crew, except for those vitally connected to the cloak project (Riker and Presman included), mutinied. Presman and Riker escape before the ultimate explosion occurs. It appears that the ship is destroyed, but it actually cloaks. It enters an asteroid belt on the edge of Federation space and, while it's in an asteroid, its cloak fails. About sixty percent of the ship rematerialises within solid rock. The engineering section, with the prototype cloaking device, instead rematerialises in an empty cavern. Presman, Riker, and the others that escaped are merely questioned, but investigations do not take place because of the Federation security department's involvement in this affair. Federation invention of cloaking technology was expressly forbidden in the Treaty of Algeron, signed over a century before.
1982 to 1989
MotherBrain besieges the Palace of Power for seven years. She keeps away from Metroid, her brain-shaped world, so that none will know that she is developing Metroid creatures to use against VideoLand.
1985
The First Metroid War. A ship from MegaLand investigates a strange brain-shaped planet, SR388, to which a life-form identified as a Metroid was indigenous. They took one for observation, but Ridley and Wily, MotherBrain's top subordinates, attacked in a Zebesian craft, killed the crew, and took the Metroid. (Wily kept in hiding so as not to betray his involvement.) Galactic Federation Police, stationed in MegaLand, gets notice from MotherBrain and is overcome with fear. Samus Aran, Space Hunter, goes to Zebes, MotherBrain's new base, and destroys a clone of Ridley and one of MotherBrain, believing each to be the genuine article.
1986
The Second Metroid War. After paranoia from the First Metroid War, the people in VideoLand fear the Metroids. A MegaLand ship is sent to SR388 (now known to be Metroid, MotherBrain's long-hidden and actual base of operations) to investigate but is never heard from again. Samus Aran goes to Metroid and encounters all manner of Metroid mutations in the part of the planet to which she has access. She defeats an enormous Queen Metroid and encounters a new Metroid egg that hatches before her very eyes. The Metroid larva believes that she's its mother, which is a good thing for her. She takes the Metroid larva to Ceres Space Station, which is in orbit around Siberius, MegaLand, one of the outpost worlds of MegaLand. MotherBrain notices this but does not act on it immediately.
MotherBrain's siege on the Palace of Power worsens as she captures King Charles and banishes him to the Mirror World. The planet Chemistra, having been an ally of VideoLand since the first meeting in the previous century, applies for membership in VideoLand.
30 June 1986
Exor secedes from VideoLand on VideoLand's suggestion (but almost on VideoLand's command) so that MotherBrain may not learn about Exor and extend her "Tentacles of Power" over that area while conquering the main group of worlds comprising VideoLand. The region of VideoLand belonging to Exor is declared "unknown" to further protect Exor from MotherBrain.
1 July 1986
The Cardassians begin attempts to conquer Exor. The people all but force Jayna and Zan to retreat. The Romulans narrowly fail in their initial attempts to stop the Cardassians. Thanks to Exor's secession, the Cardassians and the Romulans do not know about VideoLand, and MotherBrain does not know about Exor. . . or if she does, she does not act upon that knowledge.
1987 to 1991
During the first several years of adapting to life on third-Earth and meeting and befriending several inhabitants, the Thunder Cats are joined by others who escaped the explosion of Thundera (Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O) and encounter S-s-slithe, Jackalman, Monkian, and Vultureman a countless number of times, as well as Mumm-ra and six Luna-tacks: Luna, Amok, Tug-mug, Chilla, Aluro, and Red-eye.
4 March 1988
Lion-O reaches 25 years of age, Leo-Thunderian Age of Legal Maturity. He undergoes the five-day-long Anointment Trials to legally become the Lord of the Thunder Cats. (It is after this week that Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O are made known to him.)
28 March 1989
Having aided the SuperFriends in stopping several evils, the Wondertwins return to Exor to free it from the Cardassians' grip. Romulan attempts to stop Cardassia from sending ships to aid the Cardassians stationed on Exor begin to succeed. Q puts up a massive barrier to cut off the Cardassian Union, the Romulan Empire, the Federation, and the Klingon Empire from the other five sixths of the galaxy.
11 September 1989
Kevin is brought into VideoLand to be Captain N: The Game Master and help save the kingdom from MotherBrain. (Captain N episode "Kevin in VideoLand")
30 June 1991
Captured by a con-man named Captain Bragg, whom Wilykat aided (because he was under Bragg's hypnosis), the Mutants and Luna-tacks are removed from third-Earth to a rehabilitation colony governed by Bragg. (Thunder Cats episode "The Circus Train")
1 July 1991
Mumm-ra, having failed to eliminate the Thunder Cats, is exiled from third-Earth by his evil masters, the Ancient Spirits of Evil. (Thunder Cats episode "The Last Day")
8 August 1991
After a long time, the Silver Hawks capture and imprison Mon*Star's Mob. (Act 1, "The Biggest Gamble of All")
1 January 1992
The Ancient Spirits of Evil give Mumm-ra another chance to capture the Thunder Cats. Two days later, Mumm-ra rescues the Mutants and Luna-tacks from Exile Isle. (Act 2, "The Return of the Luna-tacks, the Mutants, and Mumm-ra")
1-2 February 1992
Mon*Star's Mob breaks out of the Penal Planet, but the Silver Hawks almost make them regret it. Steelheart becomes Commander of the Silver Hawks. (Act 3, "The Re-arisal of the Mob")
29 March 1992
The Thunder Cats and the Silver Hawks meet and befriend one another. (Acts 4-6, "The Meeting")
December 1992
The Thunder Cats, the Silver Hawks, the N-Team, and Darkwing Duck's Justice Ducks meet and form the Extended N-Team. (Section 4, Part 1, "The Ultimate Encounter") The Extended N-Team becomes the protector of and the partial legislator for the then-known five sixths of the galaxy, soon to become les Nations-Unies Galactiques, or the United Galactic Nations, a union of Limbo, the Kingdom of VideoLand, and other areas. They cannot penetrate, however, the Q-barrier surrounding the southernmost sixth of the galaxy.
early 1993
The Enterprise is ordered to go out and look for the Pegasus, as a friend in Romulan intelligence informs Admiral Presman that the Romulans had discovered that the ship was still there three days ago and were looking for it. Just outside the asteroid belt, the ship encounters a Romulan Warbird, whose captain claims that they are studying gaseous anomalies. Each ship studies the belt. The Enterprise locates the Pegasus inside an asteroid's cavern and enters to investigate. Riker and Presman beam over to the Pegasus's engineering section and obtain a piece of equipment. The Romulans close the cavern opening so that the Enterprise cannot exit the cavern. Riker explains to Picard that the piece of equipment is a prototype for a Federation phasing-cloaking device. After this, the device is activated in the Engineering section of the Enterprise and the plasma relays are closely watched so that what happened on the Pegasus will not happen on the Enterprise as well. The ship cloaks and leaves the asteroid by going through it out to the surface and into space. Outside, it decloaks and promises the Romulan Warbird that Romulus will soon be contacted about the incident. Presman is arrested and later questioned and court-martialled out of Starfleet. Riker is arrested and later questioned, but he is pardoned.
February 1993
Ceres Space Station scientists discover that the Metroid larva has energy-producing qualities that can benefit civilisation.
2 April 1993
Wesley Crusher begins his next "plane of existence," one in which he has done extremely well in Starfleet Academy since the Kolvoord Manoeuvre Incident. In most respects, this plane is similar to the one he left, except that Counsellor Deanna Troi is still a lieutenant commander and that several other things are slightly different.
May 1993
Tygra gives the Thunder Kittens a book about the Wilykat Race that was with them at the time he found them. Prince Ludwig von(Bowser)Koopa completes the construction of a huge, sophisticated Warbird-design starship, the Warbird, that can withstand much firepower. He has also perfected the cloaking device. Also, Rataro is arrested, tried, and convicted for the genocide of the Jaguar Race and the Wilykat Race. (Section 4, Part 3, "The Thunder Kittens' Heritage")
July 1993
Section 5: Q-niverse occurs.
