Section 4: The Extended N-Team
Part 3: The Thunder Kittens' Heritage
The Prelude
First and Only Chapter
Characters: -none-
T Over the years, before they joined, all parts of the Extended N-Team endured their own separate hardships. The Thunder Cats left Thundera, their home, because it was going to blow up. Their leader at that time, Jaga, took Lion-O, Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, the Thunder Kittens, and Snarf to third-Earth. During the voyage, the great Jaga died, and young Lion-O became Lord of the Thunder Cats. On third-Earth, they had trouble with Mumm-ra and the Mutants, mainly. Then, three Thunderians [Bengali (Tygra's younger brother), Pumyra, and Lynx-O], who were saved by others before Thundera blew up, were captured on third-Earth, were re-rescued by the Thunder Cats, and were made Thunder Cats. Then came the evil Luna-tacks, from the evil Moons of Plundarr. Mumm-ra had sealed them in Fire-rock Mountain when they came to third-Earth years ago and tried to conquer it and him. At the time, Mumm-ra had suffered a powerful defeat at the hands of the Thunder Cats; Ma-mutt, his dog, helped him leave the scene of defeat. Mumm-ra gave Ma-mutt the ability to transform into him and his powerful form, then entered the sarcophagus to recharge energy for several days. Ma-mutt, as Mumm-ra, convinced the Mutants to release the 'crazy' Luna-tacks, for they were a force that probably could stop the Thunder Cats. The Luna-tacks had their hand in making trouble; then, Mumm-ra re-created Thundera! The Thunder Cats had their hands full with getting the Treasure of Thundera before Mumm-ra, but they did. Finally, the Mutants and Luna-tacks were exiled, and Mumm-ra was temporarily put out of the picture by his own lords, the Ancient Spirits of Evil. About half a year after that, though, in the Second Act of this story, Mumm-ra was brought back to third-Earth because of the decision of the Spirits of Evil not to punish him for not destroying the Thunder Cats on what was supposed to be his 'last day.' Instead, they told him to rescue the Luna-tacks and Mutants, which was what he did. The Thunder Cats' welcoming party for the Luna-tacks was supposed to teach them something, but the Luna-tacks did not get the hint.
Along the way somewhere, this nasty called Mon*Star came along and conquered another area of galaxy called Limbo. One of the first Silver Hawks, Stargazer, was sent out to whack Mon*Star behind bars along with Mon*Star's criminal organisation, the evil Mob. Stargazer did so, but Mon*Star wouldn't stay. Mon*Star decided to burst out himself and his Mob. Getting too old to keep up the fight by himself, Stargazer called the guys on second-Earth, and the guys on second-Earth sent up Lieutenant Quicksilver, Sergeant Steelheart, Sergeant Steelwill, Colonel Bluegrass, and Copper-Kidd to help Stargazer. They assisted quite admirably, but it wasn't enough to get Mon*Star's Mob back behind bars. Mon*Star captured the Silver Hawks! If it weren't for another new Silver Hawk, Hotwing, who came along to use his magic on Mon*Star, the other five would not have had a chance. Still, Mon*Star managed to destroy the Silver Hawks. Five years in the future came a new Silver Hawk, Flashback, just out of the Silver Hawk Academy, who went back in time and stopped the Silver Hawks from being destroyed. Even with Commander Stargazer, Quicksilver, Steelheart, Steelwill, Bluegrass, Kidd, Hotwing, and Flashback, the Mob was still too hot to handle, so another couple of Silver Hawks, Moonstriker and Condor, came along. Condor was an older Silver Hawk, so he knew the tracks. Moonstriker was another young hotshot who nonetheless knew his stuff. Still, they were humiliated during the air-show above Bedlama to celebrate the Independence Day of Limbo, celebrated every 50 years. The Hawks survived the assault from the Mob that day. In the very First Act of this large narrative, the Mob decided to move Brim*Star out beyond the Light-Year Limit so that the Silver Hawks could not stop their plans anymore. Silver Hawk Steelheart got the idea that the people on second-Earth would think that the Mob had gone too far that time; she was right! The act putting the Light-Year Limit there was removed and replaced with an act that had a boundary around the entire galaxy. . . not the Limbo Galactic Sector, but the entire Milky Way Galaxy. The Silver Hawks had jurisdiction within that boundary, and Steelheart figured out how to slam the Mob behind bars. The plan worked, but Mon*Star burst his Mob out again. In the Third Act, Stargazer was impressed with how Steelheart put the Mob in jail, so he offered her a promotion. . . to Commander of the Silver Hawks! She nervously accepted and gave the Mob quite a welcome-back party when they broke out! She just walked out of Brim*Star casually, utterly humiliating the entire group of villains. She even promoted Quicksilver, Steelwill (her twin brother), Bluegrass, and Copper-Kidd up in the ranks. Just before Act Four, Mon*Star was extremely sore, so he ordered Hardware to make a devastating weapon capable of destroying all the Silver Hawks.
In Act Four the Thunder Cats caught word of this and warned the Silver Hawks. The Hawks got the message and pulverised the weapon before Hardware tested it on them. Then, Mumm-ra, the Mutants, and the Luna-tacks decided to help the Mob. So did the Thunder Cats with helping the Silver Hawks. The Thunder Cats reached Hawkhaven - part of the way under escort from the Silver Hawks - and allied themselves with the Silver Hawks. Then, Mumm-ra, the Mutants, and the Luna-tacks made contact with the Mob, and they were all about to explode the entire galaxy; the Silver Hawks and Thunder Cats ruined their getaway. Steelheart and 'Will diffused the bomb which was to make the universe go up in smoke, and the Thunder Cats and Silver Hawks have been allied since. The stories with the most recent details are in Section 1 of this narrative.

It was a terrible affair with VideoLand and the Mushroom World, too. The most recent details are covered in Section 2. 'The Reunion of the Mushroom World' narrates the beginning of the union between the Mario-Team, the N-Team, and Perry Mason and his friends, and the marriage between the evil MotherBrain and the despicable King Bowser Koopa. It reveals also the mind-powers of the evil Koopa family. In Division Four of Part One of that section, the good brother of the despicable Bowser, Spike, is introduced. He and his offspring had been sent to the Nightmare Universe, but they were returned to the normal universe by the N-Team and were made part of the N-Team. King Spike of the Good Koopas and Princess Peach Toadstool later 'tied the knot' and ruled the Mushroom World. Then, evil Ludwig attempted to steal the Triforces of Hyrule. He did, but he was stomped into the ground by the N-Team. After that, VideoLand, Hyrule, and the Mushroom World were officially reunited. Then, evil Ludwig tried to trick the N-Team by luring them into the Mushroom World and trying to lock them out of the rest of VideoLand, but that plan, too, failed. Next, Ludwig aimed to use the law to get Hamilton Burger and Della Street into trouble, but that plan, too, fell through the floor. He thought, and thought, and thought. . .
A few months ago, in 'Life, the Negaverse, and Everything' (TV episode of Darkwing Duck that comes last in chronological order, and it must be assumed when reading these stories that this is the last in chronological order), DW learned of the Negaverse, Negaduck's home universe, and trained the good counterparts of the Fearsome Five, the Friendly Four, to combat the evil Negaduck. . . right before leaving Negaduck behind on his way home to the normal universe. Then, in 'The April-Fooled Fish,' the evil Liquidator reassembled the four remaining members of the Fearsome Five (himself, Mega Volt, Bushroot, and Quacker Jack) to try to take over the world by polluting the water with Neptunia as his unsuspecting pawn. Of course, Neptunia learned better just before it was too late and helped Darkwing to stop Liquie, Megzie, Bushie, and Quackie. . . which the two did. Next, in 'The Origins of Quacker Jack's Powers and the Return of Negaduck,' the Fearsome Three (Liquie, Megzie, and Bushie) teamed up with Moliarity, Tuskerninni, Professor Nimnul, and Steelbeak in prison to burst out after being captured by Darkwing and pals. They aimed to power up Quackie and bring back Negzie. They did both, turning Quacker Jack into a literal toy-maker. Of course, Darkwing, who reassembled the Justice Ducks League, stopped them.
In December 1992, in 'The Ultimate Encounter,' the wicked Ludwig planned to take over the entire Milky Way Galaxy, divided as follows:
The areas of control are dictated by the regular hexagonal shape, rather than the spiral galaxy shape. Evil Ludwig decided to connect the Limbo Galactic Area with the VideoLand Galactic Area and join with the Mob. Liquidator decided to cover the entire galaxy in a huge storm-cloud so he could transport to anywhere in the galaxy and rip off anyone. As of yet, the unknown galactic area was - well - unknown! No contact had been made with that sixth of the galaxy. Anyway, the Thunder Cats, Silver Hawks, Mario-Team, N-Team Base, Mason-Team, and Justice Ducks met and joined forces about the same time as Mumm-ra, the Plundarrians, the Mob, the Brain-Team Base, and the Fearsome Ten (Negaduck, Mega Volt, Liquidator, Quacker Jack, Bushroot, Steelbeak, Ammonia Pine, Moliarity, Tuskerninni, and Prof. Nimnul). All that happened is explained in Part 1: 'The Ultimate Encounter' in this Section. Part 2: 'Nuclesís's Evil Plot' introduced two new heroes, Jane Physicost and James Chemsos (who were fiancés), as well as a new villain and his idiots: Charles Nuclesís (a servant of MotherBrain on the calibre of Dr. Wily and Ridley), Electron Charge, Neutron Head, and Proton Brain.
The events in this story, Part 3: 'The Thunder Kittens' Heritage,' occurred in May 1993.
